Portable PA Systems are a great accessory to have if you have a band and are in need of transporting your sound system with you where you go. Now it’s easy to have your best sound where ever you play.
Public address systems as PA systems are otherwise known as now come with enough power to cater to small crowds of people. Any nightclub will be suitable for a band to play in and the crowd will be able to hear everything loud and clear.

There are units which come with speakers and a mixing board as well as speaker stands to place the speaker on. Lightweight of the units makes it easily portable and the equipment can easily fit on a dolly as well so you can roll everything to its destination.
Popular brands of PA systems include the Yamaha StagePas 300 which comes with an 8 channel powered mixer and two 1×8 2 way speakers along with the speaker cables. This particular unit costs only $599 and the owners of it seem to really like it a lot. One negative of the unit is that it doesn’t come with speaker stands.
Another brand which has been getting good reviews is the Fender Passport Deluxe. This is the latest offering from Fender and it comes with 2 speakers and a 6 channel mixer. Unlike the other unit this unit does come with speaker stands. I’ve also heard that the reverb function on the mixer is pretty good as well.
Portable PA Systems are now easily affordable and you can have your own sound person tag along to your shows and give your band the unique sound it needs. With multiple inputs on the mixers you can have all of your band members plugged in and ready to rock out as well.
